To deliver accurate calculations and a secure experience, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account information: your name, verified mobile number, and email address.
• Health & cycle data: period start dates, average cycle length, and any symptoms you log.
• Technical data: device type, app version, and basic usage statistics (used only to improve the app).

Your data is processed solely for the following purposes:

• Calculating safe and unsafe days and showing your ovulation calendar.
• Providing personalised cycle statistics and health insights.
• Sending period and ovulation reminders (when enabled).
• Verifying your identity via SMS OTP.

We never use your health data for advertising profiling.

SafeCycle does not sell, rent, or share your health metrics or credentials with any advertiser.

We only use trusted processors that are essential to operating the service:

• Razorpay — for secure payment processing.
• SMS gateway — for sending OTPs and notifications.

These processors only receive the minimum data required to perform their function.

We apply industry-standard measures to protect your data:

• Encryption both in transit and at rest.
• Optional biometric lock and a 4-digit security PIN inside the app.
• Restricted, monitored access to our servers.

While no system is ever 100% secure, we continuously work to safeguard your information.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal and health data is permanently removed from our active systems (except records we are legally required to keep).

You have full control over your data. At any time you can:

• View and edit your profile information.
• Permanently delete your account and all associated records.
• Opt out of notifications and marketing communications.
• Withdraw your consent.

All of these options are available in your profile settings.

SafeCycle is intended for adult users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
